Pitched as a twisted retelling of Snow White, in which a 16-year-old is left to uncover the evil forces responsible for her cousin’s gruesome murder before they destroy her family, her village, and her whole world.

Expected publication: 2014 by Delacorte Books for Young Readers 

 

McCormick did an interview with The Lucky 13s and said:

"It’s called The Glass Casket, and it’s a twisted retelling of Snow White. It’s set in a classic fairytale universe, very lush and cozy, but with a definite darkness to it. There’s a snowy mountain village, and a gruesome murder. There’s a beautiful girl, and an ancient curse, and all the while, a beast is stalking the woods. I had so much fun writing it, and I can’t wait to share it."

 

I mean I just want to squeal! I really hope this won't disappoint! I can't wait for the book itself but also the cover! I mean I love retellings and I hope this Snow White retelling will rock. I wish there were more info. I mean I want to know more what is this beast and other stuff. I mean it sounds more Red Ridding Hood but pfft, who cares?!
