Tamora Pierce meets George R. R. Martin in this smart, political, medieval fantasy-thriller.
There is a new king on the throne of Tildor. Currents of political unrest sweep the country as two warring crime families seek power, angling to exploit the young Crown's inexperience. At the Academy of Tildor, the training ground for elite soldiers, Cadet Renee de Winter struggles to keep up with her male peers. But when her mentor, a notorious commander recalled from active duty to teach at the Academy, is kidnapped to fight in illegal gladiator games, Renee and her best friend Alec find themselves thrust into a world rife with crime, sorting through a maze of political intrigue, and struggling to resolve what they want, what is legal, and what is right.

“A wild, energetic  novel that proves girls CAN be warriors while still being true to themselves.”

Incarnate by Jodi Meadows Theater Treasure Hunt!

Welcome to the INCARNATE Theater Treasure Hunt!

This week, 48 bloggers are celebrating the release of INCARNATE by Jodi Meadows by participating in a treasure hunt with clues, activities, and lots of prizes including signed books and handknit fingerless mitts. You've reached a CLUE blog, which means somewhere on this page is a clue to finding the hidden page and grand prize entry form on Jodi's website. Follow 26 clues to get there!

For more information on the INCARNATE Theater Treasure Hunt, check out Jodi's post

Looky here! One more of Jodi's knits!

Jodi Meadows' Incarnate has the most beautiful cover I had seen in a while. The colour and the design is just so inspiring. Butterflies are free and beautiful. There are between 15,000 and 20,000 species of butterflies worldwide. For those who took high school biology you probably heard of the Taxonomic Systems where organisms are classfide based on DNA. Well every butterfly follows the below "root of classification".

Kingdom:Animalia
Phylum:Arthropoda
Class:Insecta
Order:Lepidoptera

So if you want to know a specific specie of butterfly, you will need the family, genus, and specie to find the exact butterfly. Ok enough science talk, let me show you some of my favourites from these beautiful creatures!

North American Nymphalid Butterfly
Silvery Blue Butterfly, really that's the name!

Ulysses Butterfly
Eastern Black Swallowtail
Common Jezebel
Eighty-eight
Scarlet swallowtail

So what are some of your favourite butterflies?

Wait! One more thing before the clue. So I was searching up some dresses for my prom. And guess what? I found a beautiful dress that totally reminded me of Incarnate's cover! It seems like it was made for it. The colour, the details were just amazing!

Clue Time!

My clue for the password is . . .
